I am buried very deeply inside my shell at the moment, and have hardly been able to visit a few blogs.
I just gotta go back to my bedroom and wait for time to pass. Which is almost all I've been able to do since Phoebe passed away.
Fortunately, the kids are old enough to take care of themselves.
I use a huge amount of energy to just fake and let my DH and kids think everything's OK when nothing is.
I will have to come back to the living somehow, and better sooner than later.
Just can't right now.
I'm broken.

I'm so very, very sorry that you and your family are having to go through this yet again. I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose your sweet ones this way.. please know I'm thinking of you. Feel better soon..

Lili - I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Phoebe - she was a beautiful kitty and from reading your entries gave you much comfort and love. I know all too well the pain of losing such a wonderful companion. If you can you need to get another kitty (or two) to fill the void which Phoebe left. I did that very soon after the loss of one of my kitties - against my wishes but DH wanted one - and the new kitty took on a lot of the traits of the one who had crossed the rainbow bridge - and stole our hearts as well. I now have Graycie - a sweet long haired kitty - who has stolen my heart yet again. Sending your hugs and wishes to help ease your pain. Deb

So sorry things are still so hard. Unfortunately it takes a long time to get over the loss of a pet, they leave such a hole in your life. Hang in there, you never forget, but time does dull the edges. {{hugs}}

I am so very sorry about Phoebe. I know how incredibly, devastating it feels to lose--the words 'your cat' just doesn't even come close, when in reality it should be your companion, your friend, your family member, even your baby. After fourteen years of togetherness, my own baby slipped quietly into a coma and died. I've never cried so long and so hard in my life. My thoughts and prayers go with you. M
